Our process

How a roof actually gets done — from first call to packout.

No mystery, no pressure, no day-of surprises. Here's exactly what happens between the day you call us and the day we drive away.

1

You call or fill out the form.

Usually the same day. Someone with a phone and a name picks up — not a chatbot. We'll ask a few questions about the house: rough year built, story height, last reroof, what's going on now. Then we book a measure.

2

We come measure — in person.

We climb the roof if it's safe to climb. We walk the deck for soft spots, check valleys, look at the chimney flashing, the pipe boots, the ridge vent, and the attic from inside if you'll let us.

First-call to first-measure is usually 1–3 business days in Oakland County.

3

You get a written estimate with the spec attached.

Within two business days of the measure. The estimate names the brand, the shingle line (or panel system), the underlayment, the ice and water coverage, the nail pattern, the flashing replacement, and the ventilation plan.

No deposit needed to get the estimate. We don't charge for measures.

4

You ask questions. We answer them.

Most homeowners take a few days. Sometimes weeks. We don't badger you. We'll send one polite follow-up two weeks out asking if you have questions.

5

You approve. We schedule.

A signed estimate puts you on the production calendar. Lead time is typically two to four weeks in season.

6

Day before: a check-in call.

The foreman calls you to confirm start time, where to park the dumpster, where to stage materials, where to put the trucks, and any specifics about the property.

7

Install day(s). Tarp, tear off, inspect, install, clean.

Dumpster shows up early. Crew arrives by 7:30. Tarps go down over landscaping. Tear-off, decking inspection (with photos to you), ice and water shield, underlayment, flashing, shingles or panels, ventilation, final magnet sweep.

Typical 30-square install: 1–2 days.

8

Foreman walks the roof with you.

Before we leave, the foreman walks the property with you. Final magnet sweep. Photo handoff. Punch list. Foreman's cell number for the next 30 days.

9

Warranty paperwork lands in your inbox.

Manufacturer system warranty registered to your address. Workmanship warranty in writing from us. Photo file from the install.

10

We're still here in five years. And ten.

Most of our calls aren't new business — they're previous customers needing something small. We answer those calls because we'd rather keep a customer than chase a new one.
